I have a great life.
I have my own dishes, chairs, beds, and treats.  The chair I like best is in the room with a fireplace. I know that's what it is because it has fire in it; dad makes the fire appear. Anyway, that chair moves each time I do; it's magic--just like dad's fire. It is also the one I stay in while mom and dad do something they call watching television. I can sometimes hear familiar noises coming from the television, but I can't see anyone but Wooly (cranky dog) and Bandit (know-it-all). I bark just to let everyone know I am guarding my home. I don't like strangers; actually the only ones I do like are my family.

I like to play in my great big yard. I can't get out though because mom and dad put up a wire fence. I'd like to get out so I could go next door and make those weird noises stop. Mom told me they were geese--whatever they are. What a racket; you'd think somebody was hurting them. Getting back to my yard--it's place where I can see everything that goes on around me. It's also a place to play although I don't do much of that anymore. When all of us are out there, Bandit just runs around with her nose to the ground, Kasha chases a ball that is thrown for her, and Wooly growls a lot. Me, I sit there and watch to make sure no one hurts them.
